Raising the Bar

We're fighting climate change together with other companies from the Science-Based Targets initiative.

The Paris Agreement is a UN initiative putting the threats of climate change on the agenda by rallying the nations of the world to act as one. The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is an equivalent on a corporate level - an initiative that mobilises major corporations in order to meet the goals of forementioned agreement.

The SBTi encourages companies to set science based targets (SBTs) in order to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement. These goals include the lowering of global temperature rises and strengthening the global response to climate change.
More and more companies have found value in contributing to the war on climate change, and with that comes an increasing transparency in how major corporations implement processes that could potentially lower the emission of greenhouse gasses (GHG). With ambitious corporations acting as a hub in relation to suppliers and customers - the chance of meeting set goals increases.


Thanks to a growing momentum the SBTi now has a strong following of major organizations (with Electrolux being one of them) working towards a sustainable natural as well as corporate environment. As of October 31st 2019, as many as 686 companies has joined the initiative.
